Children will love building sand castles on the beach, exploring the rock pools and paddling in the sea. The Lodge Grounds feature plenty of green space, mature trees, wild gardens, an aviary and a playpark suitable for all ages.
Along on Church Road you will find Fingers & Thumbs – a haven for crafty kids and arty adults to do some pottery, ceramic painting or decoupage. Workshops and classes run throughout the year too.
Children will love exploring The Scottish Seabird Centre, located at the town’s harbour. Visitors can control the interactive cameras to watch the marine life in their own environment. During school holidays there are also special events, activities and clubs for children – visit The Scottish Seabird Centre for details.
